Scrivener Creative Review was founded in 1980 out of McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. Beginning as a Canadian literary review, Scrivener has expanded over the last thirty-eight years into a vibrant publication of international scope which showcases original poetry, short fiction, and visual art. Our contributors can be found on McGill campus, within the greater Montreal community, and beyond. We have a history of publishing greats like Leonard Cohen, Seamus Heaney, and Margaret Atwood, alongside equally talented new voices. We encourage writers and artists of all levels of experience to submit their work.
